What is the benefit of short nails?

My Dad wants me to cut my nails very short.


But I don't see any benefit for short nails.

maybe your nails are really long atm ? and he just wants you to cut them.


Dont cut them REALLY short, just do what you want not him :)

Dirt doesn't get stuck under there.


Nail polish takes off in less amount of time.


Putting on nail polish doesn't take as long.
Less bacteria...long nails are notorious for harboring germs.

facial blackheads
