you can get cheap ones at walmart for like 5 bucks... true they don't last long. maybe a few days at best. but they're great for a fancy night when you don't feel like spending $30 at a salon. if you take your time and file them down to the length you like, the result will be worth way more than $5! I've used both salon nails and cheap store bought ones and to me (a poor college student) the cheap-o ones are better. I don't need a french manicure for weeks at a time.. i'm only going to class and work right?!Who likes to wear false nails and do you think you need one ?
they look good if you're going to get them done at a salon, but if you're planning to do them at home, they often fall off easily and the glue underneath gives them a funny colour. Personally i now stick to my own nails, painting them different colours makes them look just as fancy, which is fine by me:)
